Venturing toward the North Pole is both a physical journey and an encounter with one of the planet's last true wildernesses, where nature exists in its purest and most uncompromising form.
I witnessed landscapes sculpted by wind, snow, and ice. Every day brought new opportunities to document this fragile environment and the remarkable wildlife that depends upon it, including polar bears, walrus, seals, Arctic foxes, and countless seabirds.
Photographing in the High Arctic demands patience, preparation, and respect for an environment where conditions can change within moments.
The rewards, however, are unforgettable, rare encounters and fleeting moments that reveal both the beauty and vulnerability of this remote region.
