After years of studying Madagascar, I embarked on a demanding 52-day photographic expedition across its remote rainforests and rugged coastlines.

As a fine art wildlife photographer, my aim is to document and help protect these fragile ecosystems, with print sales supporting ongoing conservation efforts.

The journey was not without challengeslogistical setbacks, theft, and lost resources, but these were far outweighed by the warmth and generosity of the Malagasy people. Their resilience transformed a difficult expedition into a deeply human experience. A highlight of the trip was spending five days with renowned Malagasy photographer Pierrot Men, whose perspective offered a powerful way of seeing the country.

Madagascar challenged, surprised, and ultimately exceeded every expectation, leaving a lasting imprint both photographically and personally.
