Thanks to long-standing business relationships with Japanese clients, I have had the privilege of visiting Japan regularly. What began as professional travel quickly evolved into something far more personal—a deep creative connection with the landscapes of Nagano.

Drawn to its mountains, forests, and traditional rural scenery, I always carried my camera, exploring the region in search of atmosphere and light. One place in particular left a lasting impression: Jigokudani Monkey Park. Returning in every season revealed its constantly shifting character, from snow-covered winters with the famous hot spring bathing macaques to the vivid colours of spring and autumn.

These experiences strengthened both my appreciation for nature and my commitment to capturing authentic, fleeting moments through photograph
